Case Study

From 20 to 1,080 monthly visitors in three months

Lifting Standards ran a growing coaching business out of spreadsheets and a booking page, with no website and no data on where revenue came from. We built the site, the CRM, the storefront, and the tracking underneath all of it.

54xmonthly site visitors, from 20 to 1,080
4xbooked sessions per month, from 40 to 160
2 hrsresponse time, down from 96 hours

Lifting Standards is a personal training and online coaching business in Los Angeles. Small team, real demand, and almost none of the infrastructure a growing service business needs.

Their entire web presence was a Vagaro booking page. Customer and call records lived in spreadsheets. There was no analytics of any kind, so questions about where revenue actually came from had no answer.

The challenge

The owner and trainers logged calls and customer details in spreadsheets, which works right up until it does not.

There was no website beyond the booking page, so there was nothing to rank, nothing to point a campaign at, and nothing to convert. They also wanted to sell merch under the Lifting Standards brand, but had no idea how to start or operate an ecommerce store.

Building the foundation

We built a WordPress site and put GoHighLevel in as the CRM, so inquiries stopped living in a spreadsheet and started moving through a follow-up process with actual steps in it.

Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager went in at the same time. For the first time there was data about what people did before they booked. Vagaro stayed where it was: it worked for scheduling, and replacing something that works is not a strategy.

Adding a storefront

The merch idea became a real WooCommerce storefront rather than a someday project, covering the catalog, the checkout, and the operational side of actually fulfilling an order.

The results

Over three months, monthly site traffic went from 20 visitors to 1,080, and booked sessions went from 40 a month to 160.

Response time to a new inquiry dropped from 96 hours to 2. For a coaching business, that gap is usually the difference between booking someone and losing them to whoever replied first. Twelve weeks of build, then an ongoing retainer.

“The result? I'm capturing more revenue per client and spending less time on admin. Kevin took the time to understand how a fitness business actually operates before recommending anything, and that made all the difference.”
