Gorgias

Ecommerce CX · AI-enabled

If you sell on Shopify, this is the support desk we recommend. If you don't, keep scrolling, seriously.

our verdict

Gorgias is the best ecommerce helpdesk we've deployed, agents see and edit Shopify orders inside the ticket, and the AI Agent genuinely resolves around half of routine "where's my order" traffic end-to-end. But we'd be a bad advisor if we didn't say this plainly: its HubSpot integration is shallow. Gorgias is a Shopify-first tool, and we recommend it for ecommerce support quality, not CRM depth. B2B team on HubSpot? This isn't your tool, and we'll happily tell you what is.

Weakest HubSpot story of our partner tools, this page leans on honesty as the differentiator.

What it does

  • One inbox for everything: email, chat, phone, SMS, WhatsApp, and social comments/DMs (yes, including the TikTok ones).
  • Deep Shopify integration, refunds, cancellations, and order edits without leaving the ticket. Also Magento, BigCommerce, WooCommerce.
  • AI Agent that autonomously resolves up to ~60% of routine inquiries, including taking order actions.
  • Macros, rules, intent and sentiment detection.
  • Revenue-from-support features: chat upsells, onsite campaigns, CSAT tied to dollars.

The HubSpot integration, honestly

Here's the part most review pages mumble: there is no deep native Gorgias–HubSpot sync.

  • The official route is an HTTP integration that pulls HubSpot contact data into a sidebar widget on the ticket, display only, no write-back. Setup means configuring API tokens by hand; it's fiddly.
  • Two-way sync (tickets → HubSpot timeline, contact creation) requires middleware: Zapier, MESA, or a real-time sync tool. We build these, they work, but it's a project, not a checkbox.
  • If your support team's home base is HubSpot Service Hub, stay there. Gorgias earns its keep when your business runs on Shopify and support volume is drowning a small team.

Recommending a tool against certain use cases is the reason you can trust the rest of this page. We'd rather lose a signup than gain a mismatched client.

how we do it

How we implement it

  1. 1Channel + inbox architecture mapped to your order-volume reality.
  2. 2Shopify integration configured deep: order actions, macros with order variables.
  3. 3AI Agent trained, guardrailed, and measured against a deflection baseline.
  4. 4Where HubSpot matters: middleware sync designed so marketing still sees support signals.

Pro$3602,000

Ticket-based, not per-seat, great for small teams with high volume. Annual ≈ two months free. Overages ~$0.40/ticket. AI Agent bills separately at ~$1 per AI-resolved ticket, you pay helpdesk + AI on the same conversation, so model the math at your volume before falling in love.

For

Shopify/DTC brands with real ticket volume and a lean support team; anyone who wants AI deflecting the order-status flood.

Not for

B2B or SaaS companies, HubSpot-centric service teams (Service Hub or Zendesk fit better), very high-volume brands where per-ticket + per-resolution pricing balloons, or anyone needing native CRM sync.
