HubSpot Gold Partner

Your buyers asked ChatGPT. It recommended someone else.

We fix that. Answer engine optimization for B2B revenue teams: structure your site so AI can read it, build the off-site reputation AI actually trusts, and track every AI-sourced lead to a HubSpot deal. Not a screenshot of a chat window. A pipeline report.

the situation

Why does AI recommend your competitors and not you?

Because AI assistants don't rank websites. They cite sources. And most of the sources they cite are not your website.

When a buyer asks "best HubSpot agency for a 200-person SaaS company," the model doesn't crawl your homepage and admire your hero. It pulls from what it already trusts: Reddit threads, G2 reviews, YouTube, LinkedIn, the listicles that mention you (or don't). In one study of 57 million citations across 50 B2B SaaS brands, Reddit, YouTube, G2, and LinkedIn made up 58% of the external sources AI cited. Your site is in the conversation. It's just not running it.

Meanwhile, the traffic math has changed. HubSpot reports its customers' organic traffic is down 27% year over year while AI referral traffic has roughly tripled. Those AI visitors convert around 4x better than organic ones. Fewer clicks, better clicks, and a whole new set of places you need to be.

Most agencies will sell you schema markup and call it a day. Schema is table stakes. It gets you read. It doesn't get you recommended.

What is AEO, and is it just SEO with a new haircut?

Answer engine optimization (AEO) is the work of getting your brand cited and recommended inside AI-generated answers: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode. Some people call it GEO (generative engine optimization) or AI search optimization. Same job, different acronym, and we'll happily use whichever one your CMO says in meetings.

It is not SEO with a new haircut, but it does share a barber. SEO gets you ranked. AEO gets you cited. The models still lean on search results to decide who to trust, so a page that can't rank rarely gets quoted. Keep doing SEO. Add the two things SEO never covered: a machine-readable version of what you actually do, and a reputation that lives on sites you don't control.

what you get

What does Aspect actually do for AEO?

Two halves. Everyone sells the first one. We're built for the second.

On-site: get read.

Prompt map from your CRM. We mine your HubSpot data and sales call transcripts for the questions buyers actually ask before they buy, then track those prompts across every major engine. Not the questions your content calendar wishes they asked.

Answer architecture. Organization, Service, FAQ, and author schema on your priority pages. An entity page that tells the models who you are in language they parse. FAQ blocks written to be lifted whole.

Answer content. Pillar and answer posts structured for extraction: direct answer first, evidence second, opinion third. Written by humans who have done the work, because the models can tell.

HubSpot AEO configured. Prompt tracking, Brand Visibility Score, competitor share of voice, sentiment. It's the tool you may already be paying for. We make it earn its keep.

Off-site: get recommended.

Directory and review velocity. G2, Capterra, Clutch, the HubSpot Solutions Directory, and whichever ones your category runs on. Profiles rebuilt, a review program wired into your post-sale HubSpot workflows so the reviews keep coming without a quarterly begging campaign.

Listicle and comparison placement. The "best X for Y" articles the models quote. We find the ones that matter for your prompts and run the outreach to get you in them.

Community and distribution. Reddit, LinkedIn, YouTube transcripts, industry publications. Your expertise, published where the models are already looking.

Entity hygiene. Consistent facts about your company everywhere they appear, from Wikidata to your LinkedIn page, so the model doesn't hedge when it describes you.

Measurement: get paid.

AI-sourced contacts, deals, and revenue tracked in HubSpot attribution. Citations in one column, closed-won in the other. If the citations go up and the pipeline doesn't, we say so and change the plan.

how it works

How does an AEO engagement work?

1

AI Visibility Score · free, about a week

We scan your brand across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Mode, benchmark you against three competitors, and hand you a one-page readout of where you're cited, where you're missing, and what's easiest to fix.

2

AEO Foundations · 4 weeks, one price

The audit, the prompt map, the first round of on-site structure, HubSpot AEO switched on, your three most important directory profiles fixed, and a 90-day plan. Everything is counted, so "done" means done.

3

AEO Authority · 3 months, one price per month

Foundations plus the off-site engine: more pages structured, a content bundle every month, a review program wired into HubSpot, placement outreach, and a monthly report with citations in one column and pipeline in the other.

4

After month three

Most clients keep the engine running inside RevOps as a Service or a monthly AEO retainer. Same team, same Slack channel, one more thing that finally has an owner.

  • 10 brand and service knowledge blocks the models can quote whole
  • Review program wired into your post-sale HubSpot workflows

What tools do you use for AEO?

We track in HubSpot AEO because it's likely already in your portal, and in ZeroRank because HubSpot doesn't track Claude yet and your buyers do use it. If you're already paying for Scrunch or Profound, we'll report out of that instead. You're buying the outcome, not a dashboard subscription.

questions we actually get

Questions, answered.

What's the difference between AEO and GEO?

Marketing. AEO (answer engine optimization) is HubSpot's term and the one B2B buyers search for more each year. GEO (generative engine optimization) is the same practice with a different acronym. AI SEO is the umbrella some agencies use for both. We say AEO and do all three.

Will AEO increase our website traffic?

Not necessarily, and anyone who promises it will is guessing. AI answers are often zero-click. What goes up is qualified demand: buyers who arrive already knowing who you are, and convert at several times the rate of organic visitors. That's why we measure in HubSpot deals, not sessions.

How long until we see results?

Citation changes usually show inside 60 to 90 days of the sprint. Pipeline impact typically shows in the second quarter of the Authority retainer. Anyone quoting two weeks is optimizing a featured snippet and calling it AEO.

Why does so much of this happen off our website?

Because that's where the models get their opinions. Reddit, YouTube, review sites, and LinkedIn account for most of the third-party sources AI cites for B2B brands. Your site tells the model what you claim. Everyone else tells it whether to believe you.

We already use HubSpot's AEO tool. Do we need you?

The tool tells you which prompts you're missing from. It doesn't rebuild your G2 profile, write to the listicle editor, or wire a review request into your onboarding workflow. Most clients come to us with the tool already on and 40 recommendations nobody has time to action.

Do we need a developer for the schema?

Not if you're on HubSpot Content Hub. We ship it. If you're on another CMS, we hand your dev a tested JSON-LD bundle and a Loom.

Does AEO replace our SEO agency?

No. Keep them. We'll share the prompt map and the schema plan so nobody duplicates work. If you don't have one, our answer content is built to rank as well as be cited, because the models still read Google.

What happens after the three months?

The engines keep changing, so the work doesn't really end, it just gets cheaper to maintain. Most clients keep the off-site engine running as a module inside RevOps as a Service or a monthly AEO retainer. Some take the plan and run it in-house. Both are fine; the Foundations work is yours either way.

What if the engines change again next quarter?

They will. Prompts get refreshed, tracking follows the engines that actually send you buyers, and we tell you when a platform stops mattering. That's most of why month-to-month support exists.

Ask ChatGPT who the best HubSpot agency is for a company like yours. Then ask us why it didn't say you.
